![]() I will let you know what the owner says when I go and order it. I am 6ft tall, so the chart is off for me. I did the whole book thing in the crotch and measuring to the floor. here is oen of the many sizing charts I have found: The guy there stated he rides a 19" and he is 5'11. He stated that you should be able to stand over the main tube and lift the front wheel off the ground a little. The bike was pretty tall and when I stood over the main tube, there was roughly 2" between that and the boys. But there sizes are 15,17,19,21 for the monocog. If I multiply that by the frame size formuls 30x.59, that comes out to 17.7, which is almost 18. And also this generates an over-all feeling of happiness and well-being, while promoting the emergence of immune cells. Riding a bicycle helps you have got your defenses high, strengthening your disease fighting capability. My inseam on all the pants I buy is 30"I used to buy 32" but they were too baggy. The redline bike monocog 29 single speed mountain bike also enhances your immune system. I will be sure to post pics. Thanks Again !!! Hopefully I will get back there this week to order. I know SS will not be easy at first, but after awhile, I am sure I will be okay. That was refreshing to know since others have tried to talk me out of SS. ![]() The young man also told me that they have sold 2 Monocogs that he knows of and there is a guy that rides all the local trails and he is able to ride just fine with all the other $5K bikes on his SS Monocog. They have a Monocog Flight there that is on layaway, so I was glad I was able to see one in person instead of looking in a catalog and buying one. I dont wanna risk injuring the boys.Though with the 29" wheels, that would change frame size a little I am thinking. I stood over the frame and I was able to lift the front wheel up about 2", so I was told that is the size I need. Redline Monocog Flight Redline Monocog Flight 599 22. I am 6ft, 250 and thought I would need a larger size. I was surprised to find I will need a 17" frame. I can swap out the stock 2.1 tires if I want and have them install 2.3 which I would prefer for a small fee which I will have to ask about when I order it. So in the end, if I wanted to get a new seat and disc brakes, I basically have a Flight. The Flight has a better seat and disc brakes, those 2 upgrades alone are $200 after looking at the prices at the LBS. The only difference frame wise is that the regular monocog has the posts for the v brakes. The Flight now has a steel frame plus it can always be upgraded to gears if I should ever choose to, which I doubt, but its there. I think the Monocog is better built though it seems. The only one that is cheaper is the GT Peace 9R for $750. ![]() Its more than I wanted to spend, but compared to several other single speeds, its one of the better values. I think I am going to go with the Redline Monocog Flight for $800. I want to thank everyone for all the info, it is greatly appreciated and was extremely helpful.
